Klas Hayllen (KHA), recognised as Architizer Best Young Firm with a Special Mention, will delve into his distinctive design approach for The Vintners project. This remarkable conversion turned a listed Grade II wine warehouse in Bradford on Avon into a welcoming family home. The project's essence lies in a delicate balance between preserving the warehouse's historical character and introducing bold contemporary elements.

Central to the project was a strategic focus on key factors, including air-tightness, breathability, MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery), and thermal mass. These considerations were harmoniously blended with meticulous insulation practices. KHA's portfolio showcases a strong track record of working with existing homes, placing emphasis on exceptional design, generous spatial arrangements, and thoughtful material choices.
