We’re looking for a Multi- Trade Construction Worker with excellent problem solving skills to join us on upcoming projects this year!

Shanks & Co are a creative building firm who trade in the Bristol and South Somerset area. Our team consists of experts in different areas and our experience in the trade is collectively over 15 years. We add a unique creative flare to our customer’s builds.

We’re moving forward green, and we are expanding to include eco-retrofits and new builds in our growing list of services. • knowledge of building and construction

• problem solving

• the ability to use machines and tools - bonus points if you have your own!

• preparing construction site before work begins

• physical work like lifting, bending and carrying

• tidiness, clearing away debris at the end of the job

• following building regulations, meeting health and safety

You may have got into construction via a university or college course, an apprenticeship, or you’ve been working towards this role in the industry for a number of years. Knowledge of electrical / plumbing is preferable but not essential.

Ideally you’ll live in Bristol or within reasonable commuting distance. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferable.

You will be working on a construction site. Your working environment may be at height and outdoors in all weathers. You may need to wear protective clothing.
